60s style in Liverpool

Three classic cars from Great Escape Classic Car Hire helped recreate Liverpool's 60s beat heyday when they were displayed at the BT Conference Centre.
The classic car hire company's Aston Martin DB6, Jaguar E Type convertible and classic Mini Cooper were on display in the conference centre's main hall as part of a major conference event attended by 1,000 people. The cars were chosen by the organisers to complement the 60s themed evening, which includes live music from a Beatles tribute band.
The event placed significant logistical demands on Great Escape because of the timescale, location of the cars and distance involved. Brits star for the Germans

Great Escape Classic Car Hire is celebrating after successfully staging one of the largest corporate events involving classic cars ever staged. The major corporate event for Toyota involved over 20 British sports and saloon cars and 100 people travelling a 140 mile route between Manchester and Derbyshire.
The event for Toyota's top German sales people took 6 months to plan and resulted in very positive feedback from the UK event management company for Great Escape's professionalism and the quality of its cars.
Great Escape provided a wide variety of classic cars for the German guests, ranging from an Aston Martin DB6 to a Morris Minor convertible. The company provided full vehicle familiarisation - assisted by interpreters - and back up in the form of three staff and two car transporters with spare vehicles. Despite the rigorous timetable and the large number of guests, just one car suffered a mechanical fault, which was quickly remedied by Great Escape with no disruption to the day.
"We have organised similar events but on a smaller scale," explained Graham Eason of Great Escape. "This event was on a much larger scale but its success depended on the same factors - careful planning, high standards of vehicle preparation and ample support on the day."

Wind in the hair

When a leading pensions provider wanted an image to convey the joy and freedom of retirement it turned to Great Escape Classic Car Hire for help. They decided they wanted a picture of an iconic MGB sports car offering wind in the hair fun.
From Great Escape's fleet of 50 classic cars for hire the photographer selected the company's 1971 MGB convertible in teal blue with tan interior for the shoot. Great Escape delivered the car using its own dedicated transport to Dulwich Park at 8.30am for the all day shoot.
The photographs involved two models and the car featured in virtually all the shots for the new advertising campaign.
"The image of wind in the hair classic open top motoring instantly conveys joy and freedom," explains Graham Eason of Great Escape. "This is the emotion that the advertising agency wanted to convey and we were very happy to help out."

Great Escape for solicitors

A group of senior solicitors hit the road in Suffolk for a jam-packed day of classic car action thanks to Great Escape Classic Car Hire. The leading classic car hire company organised a coast and countryside corporate event and team building trip involving six classics from its Suffolk fleet. Every member of the team of 12 drivers got a chance to sample the cars, ranging from a Rolls Royce Silver Spirit to an Aston Martin DB6.
