Tourism Awards Success for Great Escape

Great Escape Classic Car Hire has beaten off stiff competition from across the Heart of England to be named one of the region's best tourism experiences. The winners of the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards were announced in Birmingham on 21st October. Great Escape was a finalist in the Best Tourism Experience category and received a Highly Commended award on the night.
"The judges said they were impressed by our customer service, our partnership approach to working with other tourism providers and our growth and development over the last four years," explains Graham Eason of Great Escape. "We were up against tough competition from major tourist venues like Drayton Manor Park so we are extremely pleased with the result."
Great Escape Classic Car Hire operates a fleet of 50 cars from five locations across the UK and has its main headquarters in Worcestershire. The company specialises in providing classic and vintage sports cars for self drive hire, including offering complete weekend break packages with hotels and touring routes.

Final countdown to tourism award

We are celebrating the news that Great Escape Classic Car Hire has been named a finalist in the prestigious Heart of England Excellence in Tourism 2010 Best Tourism Experience category. The news follows a lengthy application process and face-to-face vetting by the judging team on site.
Great Escape is up against big names from the regional tourism industry for this most coveted accolade. Its is the first award we've ever entered in our short 4 year history and we've got our fingers crossed for the announcement at the Awards ceremony on 21st October.
The judges were impressed with our standard of customer service, rapid growth and our partnership approach to working with local tourism suppliers. Every year Great Escape brings thousands of people to the region specifically to sample our cars and this benefits accommodation, restaurant and attraction providers. The judges also liked our new Getaway Driver concept, which puts together bespoke weekend break packages for customers.
