In Geneva Nissan has shown a new Micra

On a motor show in Geneva the world premiere of compact hatchback Nissan Micra of new generation has taken place. As they say in the official press release, the car becomes global model and will be on sale in 160 countries worldwide.

Compact hatchback Nissan Micra

Hatchback Nissan Micra of following generation is constructed on a new platform which will be used also for subcompact crossover Juke, whose occurrence on the conveyor is planned for September of current year. The dimensional length new Micra makes 3780 mm, width — 1665 mm, and wheel base — 2450 mm, that on 61, 5 and 20 mm more than at the predecessor. The hatchback height is equal 1525 mm — on 15 mm more low Nissan Micra to the previous generation.

New interior Nissan Micra

Originally in the European car market new Nissan Micra it will be offered with the three-cylinder petrol engine in volume of 1,2 litres developing 80HP (108Nm). Later in scale are planned to add the 98-strong unit of similar volume equipped with a variator.

Besides Micra, in Geneva the European presentation also has taken place: cabriolet Nissan 370Z, crossover Juke updated Qashqai, Pathfinder, and also electromobile Leaf.

2010 Mazda6: sedan, hatchback, universal

The debut of updated family Mazda6 (sedan, hatchback and universal) can already take place in the beginning of March on a motor show in Geneva.

Restyling Mazda6

Photos of the future novelty have been published at a forum specialising in "espionage" pictures. Judging by these illustrations, restyling Mazda6 will receive a new forward bumper with others an air inlet, a radiator lattice, and also new headlights of head light. Besides, the novelty will have new lateral mirrors and modifed back lanterns.

Most likely, some changes will occur and in interior Mazda6, however this information is not confirmed yet.

Debut of minivan Mazda5

Earlier it was informed, that in the same place — in Geneva — the world debut of minivan Mazda5 of new generation which will differ from the predecessor absolutely new design of a body and essentially modernised interior will take place. Besides, Mazda5 will receive the new two-litre petrol motor with direct injection and system "Start/Stop".

Nissan has presented in Geneva a minivan NV200

Within the limits of 79th international motor show in Geneva the Japanese automobile concern Nissan has presented for the first time family updating spacious minivan NV200. The new model will be made at several factories worldwide: in Japan manufacture start is planned for spring of 2009, in Europe — on second half of 2009, later manufacture in China and some other countries also will be started.

For European car market NV200 it will be made at factory Nissan in Barcelona. In spite of the fact that the total length of model NV200 is little bit less 4,4 m, the length of a cargo part of a van exceeds 2 m (2040 mm). It also can be increased to 2,8 m if to combine a forward seat that will allow to transport lengthy subjects.

The seven-seater car is accessible with two types of engines — petrol and diesel, and the diesel engine has two updatings. The petrol version is delivered with the motor in volume of 1,6 l which is used also in models Micra, Note and Qashqai. 16-klapannyj the unit develops power in 108 h.p. Toyota iQ will receive more powerful motor

Concern Toyota has shown on the Geneva motor show the supernumerary car iQ with new, more powerful engine.

On the Geneva motor show company Mazda has presented new generation of most popular model Mazda 3 to turbo-updating MPS.

2010 Mazda 3 MPS

The car is equipped by 4 cylinder engine MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo with a turbo-supercharging and system of direct injection of fuel power in 191 kw (260HP), twisting moment — 380Nm.

The maximum speed of the car — 250 km/h, dispersal to 100 km/h for 6,1 sec. The fuel expense in the combined cycle — 9,2L on 100 km, and in a city — 13,5L on 100 km. The car meets the requirements of the standard "Euro-5". The Transmission — 6-step mechanical, a drive — forward.

Outwardly, version MPS differs an air inlet on a cowl for cooler cooling. The salon is completed by the gauge of turbines and the course of an arrow of a tachometre (with 190 to 260 degrees) is increased.

Japanese automobile company Mazda has presented on starting today international the motor-show in Geneva the updated sports crossover CX-7.

New Mazda CX-7

Now the car is equipped with the new engine — a turbodiesel of MZR-CD in volume of last generation of 2,2L with system of direct injection Common-Rail. The maximum power of the given unit is equal 173HP, and the maximum twisting moment — 400Nm. The average expense of fuel makes 7,5 l/100 of km, and level of emission СО2 is equal 199/km the Turbodiesel is equipped by new system of clearing of the fulfilled gases (SCR) which is used for the first time on cars Mazda. Besides a turbodiesel, for CX-7 also petrol motor MZR DISI in volume of 2,3L with a turbo-supercharging, developing the maximum power in 260HP and the maximum twisting moment equal of 380Nm still is offered.

Updated Mazda СХ-7 have equipped with new system of navigation with the display of the high permission. Systems of monitoring of space behind the car (RVM) and preventions of emergency braking (ESS), thereby having increased active safety were added also. Modernisations the chassis components, allowed to improve controllability and manoeuvrability of the car have undergone. In particular, on CX-7 there were new shock-absorbers. The crossover body became more rigid. So, the car is completed with firm system of a full drive with active redistribution of the twisting moment which provides excellent characteristics in any road conditions.
