Mitsuoka created a new version of Himiko

The original roadster will be presented in the internal Japanese car market in a variant with convertible top. Former versions Himiko were equipped only with a rigid collapsible roof.

Mitsuoka is going to begin sales in Japan of Himiko roadsters. technical base for a roadster — the model of Mazda MX-5. The present generation of Mazda MX-5 is offered both with usual roof and with convertible top, however, Himiko has been presented in Japan only with rigid roof.

The car is equipped with the 2,0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine which is present and at MX-5. In a combination with a 5-step mechanical gear box, engine power makes 170HP, at a choice of a 6-step automatic transmission — 162HP.

In interior of differences at a novelty practically is not present not only from former Himiko, but also from actually Mazda MX-5. Only materials: armchairs is made from red genuine leather, on a front panel of an insert from a natural tree etc.

Novelty cost is high enough, as, however, and the majority of models Mitsuoka. In Japan the car will be offered at the price from 4,880,000 yens ($56,500US or 43,400 euros). In total will be created only twenty similar cars. All of them are intended for sale only in Japan.

Infiniti updates crossovers FX and EX

Infiniti informs about details of crossover FX 2011. Now in the base version the car has the electric drive of a back door, and also is changed design of wheel disks.

The salon interior also has changed. Now a standard variant for FX50 are the tree inserts covered with a black varnish. For FX35, perhaps, inclusion of multipurpose navigating system in a package of additional equipment Premium Package — became the most appreciable change.

Engines have decided not to modify. Base: 3,5-litre petrol V6 (303HP) for FX35 and 5,0-litre V8 (390HP) for FX50. Transmission: a 7-step automatic transmission. As to Infiniti EX — occurrence of 7-step automatic transmission becomes the most appreciable innovation in model 2011. Also three new colours of a body are added: Artic Blue, Midnight Garnet and Graphite Shadow.

New Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition

Admirers of Honda trade mark have been revolted by recent news that the motor-car manufacturer stops release of sedan Civic Type R in August of this year.

Non-standard sedan

In this connection Honda plans start of limited release of Civic Type R till autumn of 2010. Nevertheless, admirers of this model should be warned that Civic Type R Limited Edition will not coincide with original standards.

Strongest of Civic versions

Honda assumes to update external design, besides, already precisely it's known, — the model will be equipped by more powerful engine. Sedan Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition will receive additional 24HP.

Manufacture of the new car will begin at factory Honda in Swindon (Great Britain). Factory Suzuka in Japan collects a sedan of current generation.
