For a house motor show in Tokyo company Suzuki has prepared three new cars, one of which, concept car Alto, has caused genuine surprise in experts.
Hatchback Suzuki Alto
The central place at stand Suzuki is given conceptual hatchback Alto of new generation though the current version of the car has been presented exactly one year ago at an exhibition in Paris. That has forced the company of all to prepare new generation Alto for a year — there is a riddle, but, probably, a business in low indicators of sales of the present car. Anyway, concept car Suzuki Alto differs from a serial hatchback the modernised forward part and a new interior in which there was huge and well readable speedometer, set of pockets, and the transmission lever has moved on a floor.
The length of the car makes almost 3,4 m, width — 1,47, height — 1,53 m, the wheel base reaches 2,4 m. As is informed in the official press release, despite the compact sizes, in the car with relative comfort four adults can take places.About a technical component new Suzuki Alto while it is known not so much as it would be desirable. The company has shared the information that concept car Alto is equipped by the 3-cylinder 0,66-l engine. However, terms when the car will go to a batch production, are not specified.
Also in Tokyo Suzuki has shown two economic conceptual hybrids. The first — a hybrid variant of hatchback Swift which has received the 0,6-l petrol engine which is responsible for replenishment of a resource li-ionic of batteries, and the electromotor. Only on one electric energy about 20 km are capable to pass the car. To recharge accumulators it is possible and in house conditions, using the usual socket.
Special release Suzuki SX4
Special version Suzuki SX4 became last exhibition conceptual exhibit in Tokyo. The main feature of the given model consists that the car works on hydrogen fuel. Today concept Suzuki SX4 FCV passes test in Japan and the next years will appear on sale.
The car will be offered 2010 modelling years in the special version — a hatchback with a forward drive. Till now the given type of a body was offered only in a combination with 4WD. Suzuki Motor plans to expand a number of complete sets accessible to model SX4. In the United States the car shortly will start to offer in special version SportBack. The main things distinctive feature of the new version of the car — a forward drive in a combination to a body a hatchback. Till now in the USA sedans SX4 were front-wheel only.
2010 Suzuki SX4
New SX4 SportBack will receive reduced, in comparison with the original version, a road gleam, and also will lose a luggage carrier on a roof, for creation of more sports appearance.
In comparison with SX4 Crossover, the novelty will possess smaller weight, but exact data while are not present. It is supposed also, that for all lineup SX4 engines will be modernised.
