Mazda will celebrate a MX-5 Anniversary

Company Mazda has presented special updating of roadster MX-5 which is developed in honour of the 20 anniversary of this model.

As they say in the official press release, the first MX-5 has appeared in 1989 and in 11 years, in May, 2000, has got to the Guinness World Records as the most sold open double car in the world. At present worldwide it's sold about 860 thousand copies MX-5.

From usual Mazda MX-5 the novelty can be distinguished on a label with an inscription "20th Anniversary", to the chromeplated wells of antifog headlights, 17-inch wheel disks from an aluminium alloy with tyre covers dimension 205/45 and to sports armchairs Recaro with two-coloured furnish.

The special version of a roadster will be painted only in white colour and begins to be equipped with the two-litre petrol engine power 160HP. Updating with a soft roof is accessible with six-step "mechanics", and with metal — with six-high-speed "automatics".
